My Resume!
Information Systems Researcher | Building AI-Driven Scholarship & Innovation Platforms
Chinonso Anyaehie
Contributor, MISQ Insider (in partnership with MIS Quarterly) — Selected to contribute to MISQ Insider, an initiative aimed at making top MISQ research more accessible. My role involves analyzing a high-impact MISQ article, co-conducting an author interview, and translating key insights to enhance scholarly visibility and open dialogue around the publication process in the Information Systems community.
Member & Presenter, Sequence Analysis Association (SAA) — Approved as a member of the Sequence Analysis Association and invited to present my work-in-progress study, “Event Series Research on AI Adoption,” at the SAA Work-in-Progress Seminar. The presentation showcased my use of computational sequence analysis to examine 21 AI adoption trajectories, contributing to process-based theorizing and methodological innovation in Information Systems research.
Volunteer, International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2025), Nashville — Selected as an on-site volunteer for ICIS 2025, the flagship global conference in Information Systems. This role provides direct engagement with leading scholars and practitioners, hands-on experience in coordinating a major academic event, and valuable opportunities for professional networking within the international IS research community.
Presenter, ICIS 2025 – Quantum Computing Ecosystem Research — Selected to present the paper “Science and Commerce in Quantum Computing: Toward an Oscillatory Theory of Ecosystem Emergence” at ICIS 2025. The study analyzes 4,194 quantum computing press releases (1989–2025) and introduces an Oscillatory Ecosystem Theory, revealing how innovation power shifts cyclically between scientific institutions and commercial actors, challenging the linear science-to-market narrative in deep tech innovation.
Designer & Instructor, AI-Augmented Business Analytics Curriculum — Microsoft Copilot Integration (Undergraduate Level) — Designed and implemented an AI-enhanced Excel assessment for 2,197 first-year business students, integrating Microsoft Copilot as a pedagogical scaffold within an AI-TPACK framework. The intervention achieved an average performance of 92% with over 80% of assessment items meeting high discrimination validity, demonstrating effective integration of GenAI to enhance data literacy, analytical reasoning, and AI-assisted problem-solving skills in foundational business analytics education.
Co-Author, “Collaborative Intelligence Databases (CID): Harnessing AI for Privacy-Preserving Multi-Source Data Management” (Global Journal of Engineering and Technology Advances, 2025)
Conducted collaborative research on a novel AI-driven framework enabling secure, privacy-preserving data sharing across organizations using homomorphic encryption, federated learning, and multi-party computation. The study proposed scalable architectures for privacy-conscious collaboration in sectors such as healthcare, finance, and industrial IoT.
Lead Researcher — Event-Sequence Study on AI Adoption — Conducted a sequence analysis study based on 212 coded behavioral events from 21 mid-career professionals across industries, revealing that AI adoption is not a single decision but a sequence of emotional, social, and governance-triggered events. Identified three distinct adoption trajectories—Mandate-with-Guardrails, Self-Propelled Exploration, and Show-and-Tell Diffusion—highlighting the pivotal role of mid-career professionals as operational gatekeepers in translating AI strategy into routine work practices
